Transit Dispatcher

Part Time, Hourly
22-25 Hours/Week
Y Membership Included

This position coordinates and communicates with drivers via an online dispatching system and a two-way radio to ensure the timely pick up and drop off of passengers.  The dispatcher also answers phone calls from the community to coordinate pick ups and to schedule future rides. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude and good communication skills, be able to multitask in a fast paced environment, and be proficient with computers.  

The current hours are Monday through Friday from 11:45AM to 4:15PM; however, a flexible schedule is required.

Prevention Coordinator

Full-Time Exempt, Salary Position

We are looking for a qualified individual who will coordinate substance use prevention efforts in the community through prevention programs, social norms campaigns, and coalition building.  A 4 year college degree or equivalent experience is required.

Youth Coalition Coordinator

The Youth Coalition Coordinator is responsible for growing, building, and maintaining youth coalitions in all three Miami County High Schools with a focus on prevention, leadership, team building, and youth advocacy.

Life Skills Middle School Facilitator

Part-Time, Contract Position
10-20 Hours/Week (during school/child-care hours)
Hybrid Position - Home, Office, and at Miami County Schools

We are looking for an individual to facilitate the Botvin Life Skills program to elementary and/or middle school students. Experience facilitating curriculum and working with youth is recommended, but not mandatory.

Front Desk Receptionist

We are looking for friendly, hardworking individuals who can multitask and perform well under pressure. Outstanding customer service and the ability to work with youth and teens are required and a background in administration and health is helpful.

Shifts Monday through Friday from 12:45PM to 6:00PM, and weekends are currently available; however, a flexible schedule is preferred.

Wellness Assistant

Housekeeper

Youth Soccer Referee
Part Time, Hourly

We are looking for individuals who are knowledgeable about the game of soccer to referee our youth soccer league games in both the Spring and the Fall.  Requirements for the job include, but are not limited to, the ability to run up and down the field, excellent communication skills, and a background in soccer.  Each referee is assigned a minimum of two games each week, but some weeks may be more.  Game days are on Saturdays throughout the season and on weekday evenings during tournament week.  For any questions, please contact our Associate Sports Director, Samantha Strasburger, at 765-472-1979 ext. 719 or sstrasburger@mcymca.org

Child Care Assistant

We are looking for nurturing, outgoing, energetic individuals who want to work in our child care department.  Candidates must be able to work with kids ages 3 to 12 and have a high standard for safety.  Experience in youth development is preferred.

Shifts Monday through Friday are currently available.

Sub Yoga Instructor

We are looking for friendly and knowledgeable yoga instructors who can teach our yoga classes on a substitute basis.  Preferred candidates will be a certified yoga instructor, have a strong interest in wellness, and have the ability to build relationships.
