Maintenance Director

We are seeking a community oriented professional with a proven record in facility maintenance to oversee our building and grounds.  Successful candidates will have at least 5 years of related experience, a strong commitment to character values, a good work ethic, and a significant background in managing a range of building systems.

Position Target Start Date: May 1, 2026 (flexible)
Full Time, Non Exempt Wage: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Benefits: Health, Vacation, & Retirement as eligible

Key Competencies: Effective project management and problem solving skills, the ability to work in a collaborative environment as well as to think/act strategically, and proven expertise in facility maintenance.

Swim Lesson Instructor

Part Time, Hourly
3 to 5 Hours/Week
Y Membership Included

Make a difference in a child’s life, and have fun doing it!  We're seeking caring, energetic instructors to teach swim lessons to children ages 6 months to 12 years.

What You'll Do:
Teach water safety and swimming skills in a fun, supportive environment
Lead classes for infants, toddlers, and school-age kids
Create a positive experience that builds confidence and trust
What We’re Looking For:

Age 15 or older
Enjoys working with children of all ages
Prior experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right candidate!

Lifeguard

Part Time, Hourly

The Miami County YMCA is looking for responsible, safety-conscious individuals to join our aquatics team! As a lifeguard, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for our members and guests.

What We’re Looking For:
Current lifeguard certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong swimming skills and vigilance
Dependable, positive attitude
Commitment to safety and excellent customer service

Transit Driver

Part Time, Hourly
20-38 Hours/Week
Y Membership Included

We are looking for part time drivers with a heart for helping others!  The job entails assisting riders into and out of vehicles, pushing wheelchairs on and off of vehicles, and loading groceries.  Drivers are also required to keep vehicles clean and sanitized as well as to perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections.

Group Exercise Instructor

Part Time, Hourly
2-3 Hours/Week
Y Membership Included

We are looking for friendly and knowledgeable instructors who are certified in the fitness class that they teach, possess a strong interest in wellness, and have the ability to build relationships with our members.
