Transit Dispatcher

Part Time, Hourly
25 Hours/Week
Y Membership Included

This position coordinates and communicates with drivers via an online dispatching system and a two-way radio to ensure the timely pick up and drop off of passengers.  The dispatcher also answers phone calls from the community to coordinate pick ups and to schedule future rides. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude and good communication skills, be able to multitask in a fast paced environment, and be proficient with computers.  

The current hours are Monday through Friday from Noon to 5PM; however, a flexible schedule is required.

Lifeguard

Swim Lesson Instructor

Part Time, Hourly
3 to 5 Hours/Week

Make a difference in a child’s life, and have fun doing it!  We're seeking caring, energetic instructors to teach swim lessons to children ages 6 months to 12 years.

What You'll Do:
Teach water safety and swimming skills in a fun, supportive environment
Lead classes for infants, toddlers, and school-age kids
Create a positive experience that builds confidence and trust

What We’re Looking For:
Age 15 or older
Enjoys working with children of all ages
Prior experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right candidate!

Transit Driver

Part Time, Hourly
20-38 Hours/Week

We are looking for part time drivers with a heart for helping others!  The job entails assisting riders into and out of vehicles, pushing wheelchairs on and off of vehicles, and loading groceries.  Drivers are also required to keep vehicles clean and sanitized as well as to perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections.

Homeschool PE Group Leader

Part Time, Hourly
6-10 Hours/Week
Must be Available Fridays from 9AM to 3:30PM

The Group Leader is responsible for helping with the implementation and supervision of the homeschool class, including participant communication and activity supervision and coordination. Main job duties include coordination of class day activities, including scheduling, set up, and officiating as well as helping to maintain program equipment and all program related supplies.

Youth Basketball Referee

Part Time, Paid Per Game
2-3 Hours/Week

We are looking for individuals who are knowledgeable about the game of basketball to referee our youth basketball league games in February and March. Requirements for the job include, but are not limited to, the ability to run up and down the court, excellent communication skills, and a background in basketball. Each referee is assigned a minimum of two games each week, but some weeks may be more.  Game days are on Saturdays throughout the season.

Sub Yoga Instructor

Part Time, Hourly

We are looking for friendly and knowledgeable yoga instructors who can teach our yoga classes on a substitute basis.  Preferred candidates will be a certified yoga instructor, have a strong interest in wellness, and have the ability to build relationships.

Group Exercise Instructor
