Lifeguard

Part Time, Hourly
20 Hours/Week
Evenings and weekends available
Partial Y Membership Benefits Included

Key Qualifications
Minimum age of 16
Certifications: CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid Certification
Current YMCA Lifeguarding or Red Cross Lifeguarding and obtain YMCA Lifeguarding Certification within 60 days of hire
Ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness
Must demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards

Physical Demands
Ability to pass lifeguard water test
Must be able to remain alert
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods
Adequate ability to hear noises and distinguish distress signals
Ability to continuously scan all areas of the pool with clear vision
Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks necessary for a water rescue
Ability to communicate verbally, including projecting voice across distance in normal and loud situations

Youth Soccer Coordinator

Part Time, Hourly
5-30 Hours/Week
Mostly weekday evenings and Saturday mornings/early afternoons

Key Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a high level understanding of soccer
Assisting in recruiting/supporting volunteer coaches
Game day organization
Refereeing
Assist in referee schedule
Supervision/support for practices
Pre-season field set up and post-season field tear down
Assisting in team formation
Parent and coach relationships

Swim Lesson Instructor

Part Time, Hourly
5-12 Hours/Week
Tuesday and Thursday evenings available

Key Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years of age
Have the ability to work with peers, engage with all ages of children, and coordinate communication between participants and parents
Be highly motivated to provide quality aquatic experiences
Make decisions and judgements
Work effectively under stress

The Swim Instructor provides water safety and swim lesson instruction that help participants strengthen swimming skills, increase water safety knowledge, and grow in spirit, mind and body.

Housekeeper

Part Time, Hourly
2 to 3 Days/Week

We are looking for responsible hardworking individuals who want to work in our housekeeping department;  duties include cleaning our facility after hours and laundry.  High  standards for cleanliness and safety as well as the ability to work  independently and efficiently are required.

Evening and weekend shifts are currently available, but a flexible schedule is helpful.

Cook

Part Time, Hourly

We are looking for a candidate who can review recipes, assemble, combine, and cook ingredients, and maintain a sanitary kitchen.

Shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM are currently available.

Childcare Assistant

Part Time, Hourly

We  are looking for nurturing, outgoing, energetic individuals who want to  work in our childcare department.  Candidates must be able to work with  kids ages 3 to 14, have a high standard for safety, and be willing to  assist in the kitchen. Experience in youth development is preferred.

Shifts Monday through Friday are currently available.

Transit Driver

Part Time, Hourly
20-30 Hours/Week

We  are looking for part time drivers with a heart for helping others!  The  job entails assisting riders into and out of vehicles, pushing  wheelchairs on and off of vehicles, and loading groceries.  Drivers are  also required to keep vehicles clean and sanitized as well as to perform  pre and post trip vehicle inspections.

Gymnastics Instructor

Part Time, hourly
4-6 Hours/week
$7.59-$8.00/hour, depending on experience

Our Gymnastics program is looking for individuals who are committed to developing youth in a sports setting.  Candidates should be values driven, safety minded, and have experience in performing and/or teaching gymnastics.
